Ensures SOP’s are strictly adhered to and operating Instructions are followed.
- Controls storage tanks for both Raw Materials and Finished Product.
- Ensures Aluminium Sulphate is manufactured to correct specification.
- Records all plant conditions on log sheets and handover documents.
- Loading and offloading of bulk tankers and flow bins.
- Operates filter press.
- Ensures proper document handling, vehicle checklists and loading of bulk tankers are done in accordance with SOP’s.
- Ensures that machinery/equipment under the incumbent’s responsibility is kept in good and safe working condition.
- Keeps plant tidy at all times and reports all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment promptly.
- Reports all equipment breakdowns to the Team Leader.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Minimum education Grade 12.
- Diploma or certificate in chemical plant operations related courses advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in Production.
- Previous Production experience in an agricultural chemical plant advantageous
- Good communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Must be able to drive a forklift and be medically fit to drive a forklift and be in possession of a valid forklift driver’s license.
- Required to maintain medical fitness to drive a forklift in order to successfully have the forklift driver’s license renewed.
- Must be computer literate with basic computer skills.
- Required to work shifts.
