**Senior Projects Buyer - **Uitenhage

Our client is recruiting for a Senior Project Buyer, responsible for Supervising of timely co-ordination and placement of purchase orders to ensure delivery of materials / components to meet new project deadlines & resourcing of components as well as all the below key performance areas.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:
Management of Localization & Maintenance Spares
- Identify, investigate and implement cost saving initiatives for resource parts
- Ensure all parts in store are maintained and stocked according to specs

Capex Purchases and control & tracking
- Liaise with maintenance and facility engineers to review equipment specifications
- Payment terms & costings

New project involvement
- Sourcing of raw material and components.
- Coordinate supplier PPAP documentation
- Ensure availability of sample/trial materials
- Work with internal departments to identify technical requirements for materials & components and communicate with suppliers

Management of New Supplier loading and maintenance
- Supplier records
- Supplier Agreements
- Certification
- Responsible for internal and Customer audits through company Rating system
- Manage and distribute Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Material Product Data Sheet (MPDS) information internally

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma in Purchasing or relevant field
- Supervisory experience 2+ years
- Two -Three years’ relevant experience
- Syspro Experience is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multi-task is compulsory
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supervisory: 2 years (preferred)
- materials and components buying: 2 years (preferred)
