Duties/Pligte
- Providing financial administrative support to the Employee Wellness portfolio in relation to the Employee Wellness budget, which may include payments of claims, expense reporting, travel arrangements, and performing other related duties and assignments as required.
- Coordinating and assisting with implementation of the Employee Assistance and Wellbeing programmes within the institution.
- Rendering counselling and critical incident debriefing sessions as per request, and referral to appropriate resources.
- Promoting and marketing the Employee Wellbeing programme and accessibility of wellbeing services to work environments within the University.
- Promoting physical wellness initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders and engaging with staff to participate in different sporting codes.
- Creating awareness and education on health promotion by observing the National Health calendar events.
- Assisting the wellbeing ambassadors within the environment on coordinating wellbeing programmes.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Relevant qualification at level NQF 7 or equivalent.
- At least three years' relevant experience.
- Registration with a statutory body (SACSSP and / or HPCSA) and completed a course / training on the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
- Knowledge of the Employee Wellbeing programme / Employee Assistance programme, Occupational Health and Safety, Compensations for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID), and HR policies and procedures.
- Computer literacy (MS word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Planning and organising, facilitation and listening, problem-solving, presentation, coordination, and monitoring skills.
- The ability to build and sustain relationships and networks with staff at all levels.
- The ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
- The ability to take initiative and to function effectively under pressure.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- Advanced course / training about the Employee Assistance programme.
- Experience in the higher education sector will be advantageous.
