**Logistics supervisor with Mechanical experience**

SafetyGrip is a South African based company that retails in all segments of the tyre industry.

We are in need of a well-versed Logistics Supervisor to join our Johannesburg branch at our offices in Roodepoort to provide excellent services in overseeing the fleet operations within the company to help a business run efficiently, safely and in compliance with the laws and regulations.

**Duties Include but not limited to**:

- Conduct Pre and Post vehicle Inspections to ensure that all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
- Management of all Accident, investigation and reporting.
- Assist with the insurance claims.
- Arrange and manage any major repairs that needs to be done.
- Manage all mechanical inspections and repairs as and when required.
- Ordering and installation of parts as and when necessary.
- Vehicle licenses administration. Must ensure that it’s valid at all times and arrange for renewals when due.
- Assisting in the company vehicle sales.
- Assisting in the Company vehicle purchasing process and advice management on the appropriate decisions.
- Ensure that all company trailers and transport equipment in in good order and well maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Must have 4 - 5 years’ mechanical experience.
- Must have good communicational skills.
- Experience in the transportation industry.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Sound experience in inspection / investigations.
- Valid driver’s license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R23,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
