**Minimum Requirements**:

- Current registration with SANC
- Prior scrubbing experience is essential
- A qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science will be an advantage
- Management of surgical equipment and instruments
- Sound knowledge of Scientific Nursing Process, nursing activities and procedures as per Scope of Practice
- Ability to identify, prevent and manage medico-legal risks and adverse events
- Competent in the demonstration and assessment of relevant clinical procedures
- Must be available IMMEDIATELY

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Executes duties and responsibilities according to scope of practice
- Theatre duties and responsibilities
- Delivers quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
