As an exciting and unique education technology company, this position is for a vibrant, highly driven and well-presented Key Accounts Manager with experience in the education or training industry; a proven customer service track record; a robust network and interpersonal skills to manage the company’s customers, providing curriculum and technical support and market and sell the company’s products and services.
The role will initially be focused on three primary responsibilities:
- Stakeholder engagement - responsible for managing all aspects of stakeholder engagement and client liaison with onboarded education customers.
- Marketing and Business Development - working closely with the respective departments and senior management to develop and implement the marketing and sales strategy and product development.
- Content creation - assisting the Experiential Learning team (iX) with developing curriculum, content and LMS user experience strategy.
This role is integral to ensuring the company continues to develop relevant, applicable and market leading affordable products that align with our respective target market needs, business growth and brand recognition.
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with senior leadership and teachers within our schools and providing technical and curriculum support to all customers, working closely with the Heads of Curriculum and Training. You will also be responsible for driving customer engagement, business development, and marketing events and activations to promote the company’s vision.
**Job Description**:
**Stakeholder engagement/ client liaison**
- Client services and relationship building.
- Following up with existing schools and securing curriculum license renewals.
- Main point of contact for all customer’s technical and curriculum queries.
- Visiting and presenting to schools our products and services.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and client liaison with onboarded school’s decision makers/ administration.
- Maintain all customer engagement using the company’s CRM, Pipedrive.
- Develop and manage the customer engagement project plan and calendar.
- Liaise with iX team on all current and future product development.
- Liaise with Training and Operations team regarding all customer requirements.
- Manage the onboarding and training of new and existing client to the LMS.
- Assist with technical questions that are requiring redirect to instructors or other team members.
- Any other reasonable tasks as might be requested by management.
**Business Development**
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team and senior management to develop and implement the sales strategy and product development.
- Identify opportunities and partnerships that will drive the company’s products and services demand.
- Represent and present on behalf of the company to all potential stakeholders - customers, prospective clients, industry partners and government.
- Lead events and marketing initiatives.
**Marketing and Communications**
- Work together with the CEO and marketing team to develop and manage the marketing and communication strategy and plan.
- Lead the marketing and communications strategy to develop customer journey, case studies and event participation: conferences; exhibitions; activations and demonstrations.
- Lead the content and messaging for the respective channels:
- Social Media
- External communications: newsletter; blogs; case studies
- Website (CMS)
**Qualifications**:
**Key Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the education industry - traditional and online.
- Operational experience.
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of the jargon and terms used in the education industry.
- Proficient computer literacy (all Microsoft Office products).
- Prepared to work after hours and weekends within reason.
- Must be interested in 4iR and disruptive technologies.
- Must be willing to travel for extended periods.
- Must have own transport.
- Brand fit.
