**Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master (Bellville - hybrid position)**

**Role Overview**:
The Agile Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing an Agile team using Agile methodologies. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, effective communication, and alignment with organizational goals.

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning and Initiation**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create user maps and identify project roadmap, backlog and release plane
- Conduct initial resource allocation and identify project risks.

**Agile Methodology Implementation**:

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure Agile principles are followed, and continuously promote a culture of agility.

**Team Empowerment and Facilitation**:

- Support the team's self-organization and encourage a collaborative work environment.
- Facilitate decision-making and problem-solving within the team.
- Remove obstacles and roadblocks to help the team achieve its goals.

**Communication and Stakeholder Management**:

- Establish clear lines of communication with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and progress metrics to stakeholders.

**Risk Management**:

- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Address issues and conflicts that arise during project execution.

**Resource Management**:

- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
- Monitor and manage resource availability and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Facilitate retrospectives to capture lessons learned and implement improvements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to experiment with process changes.

**Budget and Schedule Management**:

- Monitor project budget and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Track project schedule and milestones, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business, IT, etc.).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt Agile practices to the project's context.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Trello, Azure Devops, etc.).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and their integration with Agile processes.
- Familiarity with Lean, SAFe, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
- Technical background or understanding to effectively communicate with development teams.
- Change management skills to facilitate organizational transformation toward Agile practices.
- Strong organizational skills
