Global company requires an experienced Head of IT. Based in Johannesburg this role is responsible for all Business IT and related services, ensuring that the business has the technical capabilities to drive growth and services as required.

Industry experience in Shipping, Warehousing, Logistics is key to this role.


**Pur**pose of the role**:

- Manage all software changes completed by internal and external support teams
- Optimise existing business processes
- Monitoring of and driving IT efficiencies
- Effectively manage all projects
- Liaising with and management of software and all vendors suppling IT services.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage expectation of Business and Stakeholders from a systems perspective

**Qualifi**catio**ns and Experience Required**:

- Related degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
- 10 Years experience at a management level ensuring effective business solutions delivery within a business
- Skilled in management of Technical teams (Infrastructure, Business Continuity, Security) through collaborative leadership
- Sound business acumen within sector to optimise processes
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premise platforms
- Knowledge of SDLC, Data warehousing, Architecture, Security and Networking
- Project Management skills
- Analytical / Problem solving skills
- Negotiation Skills
