Planner (Cellular)

To oversee the cellular planning function via stock management and performance analysis, to optimise the balance between sales, stock levels and profitability

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Buyers and business partners to develop and manage quarterly forecasts that maximise sales opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse in-season trends to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
- Manage replenishment forecasts and streamline allocation strategies for efficiency.
- Overseeing product lifecycle management, including product launches, phase-outs and markdowns.
- Allocating stock effectively to meet customer demand to maximise sales and drive efficiency.
- Understanding customer needs through store visits and feedback analysis.
- Support strategic projects and execute key initiatives that drive performance

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Commercial degree or diploma
- 2-3 years of Merchandise Planning experience
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential
- Strong numerical skills for data analysis and forecasting
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends
- Understanding of business principles and commercial awareness.
- Ability to make sound commercial decisions and manage risk
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying solutions
- Ability to think conceptually and understand complex systems
- Knowledge of replenishment planning processes and systems
