**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- A minimum matric is essential for this role.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Experience in tonne-based receiving will be advantageous.
- Must have strong numerical skills.
- Must be computer literate with basic Excel skills.
- Must be able to GRV goods.
- Must have experience doing stock counts, issuing raw materials, returning off spec material and accounting for scrap.
- Effectively and efficiently managing the entire receiving and stores function, which will further enable improved work flow and accuracy.
- Ensuring products are picked for the factory accurately and signed off on the batch cards.
- Directing logistics operations to ensure achievement of productivity, accuracy and efficiency objectives are met.
- Planning and implementing receiving and stores flow management systems to meet efficiency requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures for receiving and stores are met.
- Ensuring no theft occurs and ensuring trucks are carefully but efficiently offloaded.
- Managing the store and ensuring all products are correctly marked and recorded in an ERP System when received and released into the factory.
- Conducting daily, weekly, monthly and annual stock counts and controls to provide accurate figures to Production Manager so as to be able to plan suppliers orders accordingly.
- Ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
