**Position: Dental Assistant**

**Location**: International placement onboard a cruise ship

**About the Opportunity**:
Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting **Dental Assistants** on behalf of a leading cruise line partner. This role supports the onboard Dentist in delivering high-quality dental care to guests and crew. The position focuses on assisting in treatments, ensuring sterilization and infection control, maintaining records, and supporting the smooth running of the dental clinic.

All placements are made directly with the cruise line **Crew Life At Sea does not charge any recruitment or placement fees**.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Dentist during dental treatments and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control standards
- Maintain dental records and manage appointment scheduling
- Support in dental x-rays and diagnostic processes
- Manage dental supplies and inventory in the clinic
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Provide support during dental emergencies onboard

**Who Were Looking For**:

- Recognized Dental Assistant qualification/certification
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a Dental Assistant in a clinical environment
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control procedures
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong ability to work as part of a small medical team
