**Job specification**

The focus of this IT internship program is to create value in the lives of South Africans through the sponsorship of ICT based Skills development and learnership programmes

This is a one-year paid IT Internship programme that will focus on addressing business needs as well as utilizing Udemy for technical and soft skills training.

For the workplace experience, it will be expected of the graduates to work on local projects and implement innovative ideas to ensure the programme adds value to the organisation.

**What will be expected from you?**
- Add value to the business in terms of workplace experience
- Share learnings with the wider community
- Pass all your exams

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Applicants must be South African citizens;
- Completed a degree or equivalent and be able to demonstrate a good academic record and achievements;
- Application forms must be completed in full and copies of certified Academic transcripts must be included;
- Not have previously participated in an internship or graduate programme
- Unemployed youth (18-29 years)
- Effective communication in English (written and verbal)

Computer literacy (MS Office - basic Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- BSc Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Applied Maths
- BTech IT
- BCom Information Systems
- IT Degree/Diploma
- Bsc Infomation Technology

Having Mechatronic engineering background, progamming skills to include the following
- **HTML**:

- **C#**:

- **SQL**:

- **NET**

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
