Brand Ambassador

Be an Ambassador of the Nespresso Brand and deliver the highest possible customer service through every interaction in keeping with our premium image.

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
The purpose of the job is to generate maximum sales of Nespresso machines and equipment by merchandising, promoting and training through the medium of retails stores and chains within the incumbent’s allocated area of responsibility so as to achieve the sales targets agreed with the incumbent from time to time.

**Job Specifications**:

- Maintain with the relevant key personnel at retail stores and chains where Nespresso products have been listed
- Promote Nespresso product listings and secure orders for Nespresso machines and equipment
- Follow up orders to delivery and shelf display
- Respond to queries and complaints emanating from stores and ensure that they are resolved
- Visit stores on a regular and systematic basis in accordance with agreed program and ensure
- Maximum shelf presence of Nespresso products
- Assortment of products
- Adequate quantities and accessibility of POS material at POS
- Adequate training and knowledge of in-store staff regarding Nespresso products
- Assist with in-store arrangements for merchandising demonstrations and the like
- Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to function effectively in this position
- Maximize all opportunities to increase sales and the company’s market share
- Conduct regular environmental scans of competitor activities (price, product, layouts and promotions) and external socio-economic factors in order to identify areas for improvements / opportunities and to make recommendations for changes.
- Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and other activities and render such reports as may be required from time to time
- Manage the performance of promoters (formally and informally); ensuring that regular feedback is given/received, coaching and mentoring on performance is given/received to enable continuous improvement
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

**Requirements**:
The incumbent is required to meet at least the following requirements:

- Have relevant customer relations experience
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Willingness to travel and work in a team of professionals
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license and good driving record
- Own tablet or smartphone (data will be provided)
- Own Car required

**Educational Requirements**:

- At least a matriculation certificate and preferably a tertiary level of education in a relevant discipline

**Working Conditions**:

- Involves traveling and the potential for some after-hours work at shows, demonstrations and the like.
- During promotional periods, working days will be from Tuesday to Saturday.
- It is a fully time position whereby you will be contracted to Nespresso
