**Job description**

Sourcefin is a start-up fintech company specialising in the funding of purchase orders and tenders. Sourcefin

provides a full-service suite, including expert procurement, sourcing, logistics and buyer management support.

**Key purpose**

Our purpose is to partner with our clients to help them manage their business better, faster, simpler, so they can

spend more time doing what they love. Our team of young professionals are dedicated to assisting our clients and

providing them with finance and supply solutions, while using our innovative tech-driven database and processes.

**Areas of responsibilities**
- Assisting with drafting, vetting and negotiating contracts
- Analysing legal and liability risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Assisting with the resolution of legal disputes
- Conducting legal training for staff
- Conducting legal research on pertinent issues that impact the business
- Assisting with implementing policies and procedures related to legal compliance and key risk areas
- Providing general day-to day support to the Head of Legal and Compliance

**Education and experience**
- LLB Degree
- Strong academic profile
- At least 2-3 years post admission experience in a litigation department within a corporate law firm
- Labour law experience is advantageous

**Attributes required**
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Fluent in English (additional languages are advantageous)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Team player
- Ability to multitask
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Thorough knowledge of the law
- Knowledge of contract law
