Insurance Claims Assessor Facilitator

This is not a claims processing role, the focus will be facilitation and training delivery for adult learners in a structured skills development programme.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate training sessions in line with the accredited Skills Programme curriculum.
- Deliver engaging, practical, and learner-centred sessions.
- Assess learner progress and competence against unit standards.
- Provide mentorship, feedback, and support to learners throughout the programme.
- Ensure compliance with SETA and quality assurance standards.
- Complete all required training documentation and learner records.

**Minimum Requirements**
- At least 3 years of experience working as an Insurance Claims Assessor (short-term or long-term insurance).
- Relevant qualification in Insurance / Risk / Claims Assessment or equivalent.
- Facilitator and Assessor registration with the relevant SETA (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of the claims process, policy interpretation, and client service.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for learning and developing others.

**Experience**:

- insurance claims assessor: 3 years (required)
- training/teaching: 1 year (preferred)
