**Introduction**:
Clicks is on the hunt for a DC Clerk in Macops department. To maintain all DC functions with a high level of organization, communication, as well as hands on approach that will ensure effective and professional service.

**Job description**:

- Job objectives:

- Ensure the consistent achievement of productivity and performance standards by monitoring, tracking and controlling the daily departmental process.
- Daily/weekly schedules and deadlines are adhered to.
- Communicate and implement changes as directed.
- Health & Safety and Security compliance in accordance with company policy.
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts and stock takes and investigation discrepancies.
- Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practice and safety conscious behavior.
- Administration duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved and daily reports updated, investigated and resolved such as SA001, moves SOH investigations.
- To ensure all resources are utilized efficiently.
- Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOP's) and safe work practice including new employee inductions.
- Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPI's with a primary focus on cost controls and achieving maximum productivity.
- Invoices to be captured and handed over to AP within 48 hours of receiving the stock.
- Identify and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement of productivity.
- Ensure alignment with the Merchandise department, suppliers and stores thereby ensuring the efficient and effective flow of merchandise to stores

**Minimum requirements**:

- Knowledge:

- Understanding of logistics environment

**Skills**:

- Computer literacy
- Microsoft office suite
- Communication (verbal and written) skills
- Basic numeric skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizing skills

Experience Required:

- Essential: 1 year Administration experience
- Essential: 1 year within a distribution/logistics
- Desirable: Customer relations/suppliers
- Desirable: Experience on a warehouse management system

**Education**:

- Essential: Matric
