Description
Your main function is to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the dealership over all the departments, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, formulate and administer company policy, control cash flow, stock and assets, at a level commensurate with profit requirements and satisfactory return on investment.
Responsibilities include (but is not limited to):
- Understand, implement, and communicate dealer agreement and obtain clean audit from manufacturer.
- Develop a dealership strategy for new and repeat business.
- Manage dealership financial performance.
- Manage departmental processes to satisfy customer needs.
- Manage performance of department managers.
- Lead the team to develop and maintain positive working relationships and reach objectives.
- Manage dealership physical resources.
- Improve profitability in all departments.

- Report to the Managing Director
**Requirements**:
- Minimum and current 5 year’s experience in the same or similar role at franchise dealership level in the commercial industry (trucks) is a must.
- Tertiary Qualification required.
- FICA, FAIS & CPA knowledge
- Clear criminal & credit record
- Valid driver's license - code 14 preferred.
Skills to include:
- Operational management including effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- General financial knowledge.
- Extensive knowledge of products and services related to the commercial motor dealership with knowledge of auto body repair (panelshop) structural repair knowledge advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of all business processes / functional expertise.
- Knowledge of customer service and principles of building strategic partnerships with customers.
- Knowledge of the industry, benchmarks and competition.
- Knowledge of related industry legislation.
