**Requirements**:

- Relevant Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science or IT related field or equivalent.
- Valid code B driver's license, own transport/public transport.
- Passed credit and criminal checks.
- South African Citizen or valid South African work permit.
- 1 '“ 3 years' experience in an IT support role.
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, and VPC (Virtual Private Cloud).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services, particularly Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP, and VPN.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a proactive and customer-orientated approach.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), would be beneficial.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) would be a plus.

**Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to**:

- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and administration of computer systems and networks.
- Ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup solutions.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions in line with company policies.
- Assist in the configuration and management of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, and VPC.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft 365 services, including AD (Active Directory), Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
- Assist with DevOps tasks, such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide recommendations for improvement.
