Hospitality Trainer

**HOSPITALITY TRAINER PURPOSE**

The Hospitality Trainer is a travel loving individual with a go get attitude, excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality. The Hospitality Trainer will report to the Training Manager.

Your main role will be to conduct onsite training of our internal training programs to our employees.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Major Job Specifications**:

- Train participants the basics of food and kitchen safety, food preparation, and making healthy choices and substitutions when cooking;
- Choose recipes that demonstrate key nutrition, food budgeting, and food preparation lessons;
- Assign participants kitchen tasks that allow each individual to gain hands-on practice and improve their cooking skills;
- Supervise participants in the kitchen, encouraging proper technique and gently correcting as needed.

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- Matric and NQF Level 6;
- Chef/Culinary Qualification is required;
- 3 to 5 years training junior chefs and staff essential;
- Interest and comfort in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
- Valid drivers license and own reliable transport essential;
- Ability to be flexible with regards to shifts and weekend work.

- Gardens, Western Cape (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Gardens, Western Cape: Relocate before starting work (required)
