**INTRODUCTION**:
Our clients Managed Wagering Services (MWS) Solution is a mobile-first, managed wagering services platform designed to serve betting operators in Africa and other emerging markets.

The product's mission is to suit the unique needs of betting operators in Africa.

Given the hyper-growth of mobile on the continent, there is considerable opportunity for them to leverage their extensive market experience and their close partnerships to lead the mobile betting market in Africa.

Their platform handles millions of transactions. Youll work closely with payment, content, and other integration partners from all over the world.

**What kind of tools do you need in your toolbox for success here?**
- Scope, assess, design and deploy Cloud Infrastructure in support of our MWS solution and landscape using methodologies like SAFe, ITIL, Behaviour-Driven Development, Application Release Automation and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Work directly with clients, 3rd parties and project teams to gather information to implement processes and technology that support various technical and business functions.
- Develop and refine infrastructure and security checklists in existing environments to ensure continued compliance.
- Build and contribute to the development of methodology and automation focused tooling.
- Lead and mentor more junior engineers.
- Deep Dive complex issues to support the engineering team and drive problem-solving solutions.
- Extensive background in developing complex infrastructure layouts, including compute, networking, storage and security.
- Ability to recognize design and deployment best practices, understand infrastructure tooling, including firewalls, Kubernetes, centralized OS management and automation components.
- Extreme Ownership, someone who can work independently and lead teams of infrastructure engineers.
- You have demonstrated the ability to teach and upskill more junior infrastructure team members.
- Have a track record of enterprise-level customer engagements.
- Hands-on engineering configures cloud infrastructures using various automation tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Rancher and Azure DevOps.
- Detailed knowledge of automated provisioning and DevOps tooling.
- A demonstrated involvement in projects that span the lifecycle from planning and design through deployment, configuration, and migration.
- Technical understanding of Azure infrastructure.
- In-depth experience in Azure Cloud compute, storage, network, load balancer, and DNS management, and Azure Active Directory (Azure Active Directory Domain Services is a plus)
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Networking principles and implementation.
- Experience with system and environment hardening.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and be relied upon to deliver, irrespective of circumstances.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently within a remote setting.
- A minimum of the AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Microsoft Certified Azure Associate / GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification is a huge plus.
