Our new Boxer Distribution Centre in Tongaat is looking for a **Shift Manager** to oversee all picking operations, staff coordination, and shift performance. **Purpose of the Role**:
To lead and manage shift operations effectively, ensuring optimal productivity, adherence to standards, and smooth handovers between shifts. The Shift Manager will be accountable for shift attendance, material handling readiness, and ensuring all picking and administrative activities are completed accurately and on time.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Relevant Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a warehousing/distribution environment as a shift supervisor
- Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), WMS, BOMM, HighJump systems.
- FMCG/DC operational understanding.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and across day/night shifts.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure adequate staffing levels per shift to meet picking and dispatch targets.
- Allocate material handling equipment (MHE) and confirm equipment availability.
- Monitor shift KPI performance and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Compile shift performance and attendance reports.
- Take full operational responsibility during night shift rotations.
- Maintain discipline, ensure compliance with safety standards, and uphold Boxer values.
- Facilitate shift handovers with clear communication and task continuity.
