A payment solutions provider is looking for a Senior Technician to support the operations department and perform to the best of your abilities all duties and responsibilities reasonably assigned to you. Location: Modderfontein, Johannesburg

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO**:
Training:

- Provide ongoing technical training and operational procedure training to internal and external clients.
- Provide training to account managers and sales staff
- Provide training to call center staff

Support:

- Provide technical support services to clients.
- Provide support to external technicians across the country
- Assist outsourced technicians when they are unable to resolve issues onsite
- Attend to site escalations
- Manage and monitor job instructions as allocated for installations
- Prioritize tasks and follow company conduct rules and procedures

General duties:

- The overall well-being of the vehicle is your responsibility, this includes the contents in it (i.e. Boot Stock)
- Be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced at the correct intervals.
- Maintain quality of tools and equipment
- Ensure job cards are signed by the client and submitted in accordance to company procedures
- Perform any additional ad hoc duties as required by the business
- Ensure all spares and consumables received as boot stock are well maintained and accounted for when used on the field to service clients
- Ensure all correct spares are loaded on the vehicle
- Replenish boot stock
- Ensure damaged and used spares are returned to stores
- Complete your monthly boot stock count
- Vehicles must always be driven responsibly and in adherence to the law
- Be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle
- Ensure unresolved installations or services are escalated to the relevant managers
- Adhere to health and safety requirements as per company procedure
- Required to work overtime on an ad-hoc basis

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric essential
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Must have a valid driver’s license

- Sense of urgency
- Well prepared and organised
- Can work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Good ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Must show a willingness to learn and gain new skills.

**Salary**: Up to R22 000,00 per month
