We’re on the lookout for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst who will be responsible for overseeing, managing and executing required security controls relating to Smollan’s IT infrastructure compliance.

**IT Security Operational Management**
- Define and drive the information security strategy and assurance framework.
- Promote a robust information security culture within the organisation.
- Provide strategic recommendations to key IT projects to help improve risk optimization, security processes, and compliance with regulations or to advise on additional security solutions and enhancements to existing controls.

**IT Security Risk Management**
- Develop and manage the frameworks, processes, and tools necessary to properly manage risk and to make risk-based decisions related to IT activities.
- Identify acceptable levels of residual risk and assist with action plans and procedural changes for risk mitigation.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve threat intelligence, security, access, and authentication issues escalated by staff and other users.

**Compliance and Best Practice**
- Ensure overall IT compliance with regulatory requirements through proactive planning and communication, ownership, and relationships.
- Review and ensure adherence to security and privacy policies, standards, guidelines, baselines, processes, and procedures in compliance.
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Information Security including managing vulnerability systems and working with multiple cloud platforms.
- Experience in Vulnerability Management, Managing SIEM.

**Qualifications**
- A relevant tertiary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Information Systems or equivalent.
- Relevant security certification [(ISC)2 CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional); Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)®; CompTIA Security+]
- Post Graduate certificate would be an advantage
