Our client based in Johannesburg is seeking a Diesel Technician to join their team.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Matric or equivalent
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport

Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance and repairs of mobile, truck and refrigerated transport vehicles preferred
- Non-refrigerated transport vehicles and truck experience will also be considered.
- Strong electrical/electronic experience and background
- Prepared to work shifts and including weekends
- Willingness to attend to callouts after hours and on weekends

Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
- Prepared to work shifts and including weekends Personal Qualities
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work well with a team and under pressure.
- Must be diligent and time competent to meet deadlines.
- Must be customer service focused.
- Must be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Mechanical proficiency.
- Open to occasional travel within South Africa
- Have passion for their work and can deliver quality results.
- Problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to complete projects in time
