To maintain good GMP practices and keep machinery clean. - Compiled mill grist & controlled product quality parameters and compiled milling and packaging plan. - Controlled wheat intake & milling processes. - Controlled raw material & finished stock levels & rotation. - Optimised people, mill, machinery and equipment - also maintained the mill, machinery and equipment. - Ensured safety, health, hygiene and pest management and managed team. - Excel in Wheat Milling, both practically and academically. - Production maintenance and mechanical/technical basics. - Fault finding and adjustments to ensure product within spec. ** Maintain 6S** - Takes responsibility for safety, quality, delivery and performance on the mill. - Understanding true efficiency and Material efficiency. - Adhere to GMP standards. - Adhere to safety regulations. - Optimization of machines and equipment. - House keeping. - Adhere to all related procedures. - Reporting any deviations on the machine to Miller or Head Miller/Production Manager. Qualifications: - Matric, Technical Qualification will be advantageous. - Computer Skills. - Comply and adhere to quality systems (GMP, HACCP, FSSC). - Monitor and ensure that all required documentation is completed as per standard. - Continually seek to identify opportunities for cost saving and more effective ways of carrying out production activities. - Analyze performance and seek ways to continually improve. **“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
