Position Title: Human Resources Administrator

Location: Stellenbosch/remotely

Reporting Line: Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose:
Perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and will be focused on delivering and maintaining administrative effectiveness within the HR section.

Role Accountabilities:

- Provide administrative support to all HR functions
- Work closely and in partnership with the HR Manager and the HR team to provide effective process, practice and systems with the HR portfolio
- Deliver a positive employee experience
- Interact with staff and management in order to respond to HR related enquiries or requests
- Able to handle sensitive information confidentially

Role Requirements:

- HR related qualification or studying towards an HR qualification
- Minimum 3 - 5 years proven work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant/Administrator
- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Sound understanding of regulation and compliance
- Technologically astute - HRIS, industry standard HR software, Microsoft Office
- Written communication skills for correspondence, reports and HR content
- Results-focused and deadline-orientated
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Support the HR team to deliver the HR function
- Work closely and in partnership with the HR team to provide effective process, practice and systems adhering to good governance at all times.
- Provide administrative support to all HR functions.

Operational and process effectiveness

Provide an efficient and effective HR support service
- Maintain efficient data/filing systems including both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
- Assist with coordination of the induction process.
- Assist with administration of the performance management and incentive processes.
- Assist with recruitment i.e., setting-up interviews, completing reference checks, etc.
- Collate information for reports and presentations for internal communications.
- Prepare induction and orientation for new employees by sharing onboarding packages.
- Schedule meetings, maintain agendas, take minutes, schedule interviews and HR events.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, training initiatives, workshops and seminars.
- Update records of new staff.

Stakeholder management

Build collaborative relationships to deliver desired results
- Deliver a positive employee experience.
- Interact with staff and management in order to respond to HR related enquiries or requests.

People growth

Take ownership of the HR strategy and personal responsibility for own performance and development
- Help service the full talent management cycle to deliver an effective employee experience.
- Drive own development to ensure knowledge and skills remain current.
