**Client Details**:
Our client is in the public sector based in Gauteng.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Identifying patterns or connections between situations and to identify key or underlying issues.

Formulating new concepts based on information gathered.

Determining trends from raw data to assist decision-making in various aspects of work.

Taking all relevant details into account to ensure that a task is completed to required standards.

Interpreting functional policies and procedures.

Conducting fore-sighting and innovation research and benchmarking.

Managing the business ideation process.

Conducting / facilitating innovation prototypes, simulations and pilots of emerging business trends.

Crafting innovative conceptual designs.

Ensuring that requirements are clearly identified, prioritised and satisfied by technical / business process solutions.

Reviewing progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities.

Acting authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks.

Communicating situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries.

Initiating process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support.

Planning for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services.

Executing specialist input through investigation and opportunities within the product process.

Analysing / reviewing legislative changes and translating these pieces of legislation for scoping consumption.

Providing business design and engineering support to institutionalise process initiatives.

Designing, modelling and documenting business design specifications.

Utilising systems that ensures efficient and effective service delivery, optimised quality, financial accuracy and calculation.

Contributing to the successful implementation of change initiatives by providing support in the area of work.

Implementing / providing input into the development of governance, compliance, integrity and ethics processes.

Ensuring that completed work adheres to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements.

Developing / maintaining productive working relationships with peers and team members.

Searching for, integrating and sharing new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities.

Adhering to organisational policies and procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and reduction of financial costs.

Contributing to a culture of service excellence, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for feedback.

Providing authoritative, specialist services, expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**Relevant Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7)**: Industrial Engineering

**Relevant Skills / Experience**:
8 - 10 years' experience in a similar environment.

3 - 4 years must be at an operational specialist level.
