This role offers an exciting chance to lead the African division of the program, working with aspiring football talents from across the continent, and helping them reach their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Leadership**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the football academy.
- Ensure alignment with the global strategy and standards set by the international football partner.
- Manage the recruitment, training and development of coaching staff and support personnel.

**Talent Development**:

- Implement a structured program for football player development, focusing on technical skills, physical fitness and sportsmanship.
- Foster an environment that nurtures young talent and encourages professional growth.

**Operations and Coordination**:

- Coordinate logistics for all academy activities, including training sessions, competitions and events.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the program, including facilities management and player welfare.

**Strategic Planning and Reporting**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the academy’s long-term growth and success.
- Track and report on program performance, ensuring alignment with key metrics and goals.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality results.

**Partnership Engagement**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for the international football club’s representatives who are based in Europe.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the South African academy and the global program.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in managing sports programs, academies, or similar large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Passion for football and youth development.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a football or sports-related program is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Coaching qualification from recognised football associations is highly desirable.
