Position description

**Job title**:

- Piping Team leader/Supervisor

**Contract type**:

- Fixed-term

**Job description**:
**Job Purpose**
- Lead, Coordinate and Supervise a Piping/Boilermaking Team, in such a manner that all company, quality, safety and client specifications are adhered to.

**Duties**
- Allocation of Pipe Fitters, Boilermakers & other Team members to tasks.
- Monitor Production & Fit up/fabrication progress, Maintain Quality and productivity of Team members.
- Report to Management any production related and non-conformance issues.
- Estimate the time to be allocated to specific jobs and monitor this accordingly.
- Trouble Shoot defects in conjunction with Quality and other team members, and report on possible causes and solutions to Management.
- Assign tasks and targets to personnel on site in close coordination with management.(Subject to the workload, project and company requirements).
- Assign personnel (depending on their qualifications, abilities and experience) to the project in close coordination with the Workshop Supervisor to meet deadlines of ongoing projects.

**Profile**:
**Requirements**:

- Artisan or related Qualification.(Pipe Fitting/Boilermaking)
- Proven Track record in starting as Artisan & moving up to a being Team leader/Supervisor in Engineering or related companies(Welding, Pipe fitting, Steel Production)
- Supervisory Training advantageous
- Ability to lead by example and perform Artisan tasks.
