To provide specialist support to Loan Portfolio Traders from a booking, valuation and risk perspective for CIB Loan Portfolio Book

Job Description
- Booking and execution of trades in terms of agreed approval framework
- Ensuring loan asset margins, related funding and hedges are checked and captured correctly
- Ensuring mínimal Amendments, Backdates and Cancellation trades are captured
- Investigating booking errors, resolving Operations cashbreaks and PnL impact thereof
- Trader assistant function explaining daily PnL
- Analyze data from Trading Systems to explain PnL and risk positions to various internal stakeholders
- Maintaining the integrity of trade related data
- Performing calculations and continuous support to Trading and Operations as and when required
- Resolving and investigating any differences or discrepancies between trading system and client figures (providing detailed exception management solutions)
- Clearing of long outstanding cash breaks (trade discrepancies on source system and client figures)
- Participate in pre-implementation meetings pertaining to new deals or existing deals being restructured as support to the Front Office
- Proactively investigate new and better ways to enhance the trade management environment by regularly evaluating the effectiveness of all procedures and controls
- Ensure that all risk and control requirements relating to Loan Portfolio Trading are met and/or implemented as required
- Enhanced working relationship and support to all the touch points in CIB especially Global Finance, PCG, Operations, FRM and Structuring team
- Experience in finance within a Product control or Global Markets environment

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
