Warehouse Picker

**Overall Objective of Job**
Provide an outbound logistics service to the relevant stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
Picking for Principals and/or Distribution Centres

The picker will receive a picking slip from the Pick Controller that will display the following information:

- Product code
- Product description
- Quantity required
- And the relevant bay number in the case of WMS picking

The Picker is thereafter responsible for:

- Picking utilising the principle of FIFO principle and assisting other Pickers/wider team where necessary.
- Placing picked products on a CHEP pallet and submitting for checking based on the requirements of the pick slip.
- Reporting to the Pick controller to obtain a new picking slip and repeat the picking process until all picking is done.

Cleaning

Each Picker is allocated two isles for which they are responsible.

The Picker is thereafter responsible for:

- Sweeping the floors of the isle, dusting with a duster, levelling the stacks and filling all picking faces.
- Completing walkarounds and assisting those who are still busy.

**Salary**: From R5,730.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)
