EHS Administrator

The Big Picture:
Howden, a Chart Industries Company, is a global leader in air and gas handling products, services and solutions. Howden’s core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling, and have over a century of experience in doing so.

Howden South Africa Division is looking for a EHS Administrator, to ensure that customer sites where Howden Africa has maintenance and installations, comply with all SHE standards (internal, client standards & statutory compliance).

What needs to be done?
- Accountable for compiling and processing data regarding Near Miss Incidents, Find It Fix It's, Plan Job Observations, Hazard Observations and EEHS Observations.
- Responsible for booking, recording and processing of entry, periodical and exit medicals for Howden and Labour broker at the different service providers.
- Accountable for the compiling, receiving, scanning and archiving of all EHS Files.
- Responsible for distribution of the EHS Flash Alert Register and monitoring closure in form Management.
- Responsible for the checking, inspecting and ordering of all first aid boxes contents, to ensure compliance.
- Responsible for the recording, compiling and distribution of the MEA EHS Morning Meetings as well as the Monthly EHS Committee minutes.

What do you need to bring?
- Grade 12
- Administration qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience.
- EHS System Knowledge and exposure in an an industrial, engineering, manufacturing environment
- Must be computer literate.
- SAMTRAC will be an advantage
