**Job Purpose**: The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function for the South African entity. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and manage payment schedules.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and approval of invoices.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable aging reports.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Responsible managing and processing UK expenses
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Finance qualification (minimum NQF 6).
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (Business Central advantage).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of South African tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
