- Manage staff attendance and break times according to what is fair and legal.
- Responsible for staff performing to required standard to meet operational and financial objectives
- In the event of difficult or uncomfortable situations, Manager and Employees are to remain calm and polite, and assist the customer as quickly and timeously as possible.
- Deal with customer complaints Respond to the customer with empathy.
- Plan your deliveries: Sort invoices into areas so that your delivery routes are as economical as possible to minimize fuel costs; use a map book if necessary; Assist in order pulling and packing, where possible; Assist in loading the delivery onto the vehicle
- Communicate with your Manager and the customer of planned, completed and outstanding deliveries
- Place all items, especially expensive items into boxes, seal the boxes, and ensure that they are placed on the boxes correctly.
- Goods are matched to the invoices, check the goods and pack them into the vehicle.
- Packing and transporting of goods is completed efficiently, timeously and with no damages
- The correct goods are delivered according to the customer correctly checked order / invoice.
- Returns are checked against paperwork to ensure accuracy and the correct returns procedure is followed.
- Obtain the signed (by the customer) IOU slip from the driver upon his/ her return and file.
- Ensure loads are correctly balanced before lifting them with your forklift.
- Adhere to all safety regulations with regards to Forklift driving and other store practices.
- Report any unsafe conditions and practices to management immediately

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in Logistics or related
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Wholesale/retail environment working the in similar role
- Computer literate in MS office, MS out look
- Ability to understand and analyze retail financial records to maximize profitability
- Excellent attention to detail and planning and organizing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Relevant drivers license.
- Ability to Work Without Supervision
