We are opening a brand-new showroom in Paarl and have an exciting position available for a Haus Sales Consultant
Main purpose of the job
The main purpose of the job is to ensure consistent implementation and upholding of policies and procedures. Ensure operational compliance and risk mitigation. Drive a motivated and energised store team. Drives sales of HAUS products through effective stock management, maintaining merchandising standards and overseeing the effective operations of the showroom. Promote and sell retail products to customers, providing excellent customer service, reaching and exceeding sales budgets.
Minimum requirements
National Senior Certificate, at least 3 years sales experience in a similar role within a retail environment (preferably for a luxury brand) with experience working on point of sale, previous experience in a senior role coordinating a team (advantageous for the senior role), knowledge of homeware (advantageous), experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes, excellent communication skills (written and spoken), customer service focused and orientated, highly sales driven and focused on achieving the end result, must be professional and well presented, self-motivated, and possess general business acumen. Please note that this position is of a physical nature due to the handling of heavy rugs.
Main duties
Building long-standing and productive relationships with customers, selling our luxury homeware products and reaching/exceeding sales targets, maintaining retail showroom standards and operations, delivering customer satisfaction, managing orders of retail products for the showroom, stock management, supporting the external sales consultants, and supporting the payment process.
