**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Service, Repairs, Calibration of Brookfield Viscometers.
- Service, Repairs, Calibration (temperature, speed) of general and scientific laboratory equipment
- Inhouse work at MCL Linbro Park.
- Onsite work at Customers site in and around South Africa (Gauteng, Cape Town, PE) and Sub Saharan Africa (Angola, Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, etc)
- Maintain good customer relations courteous, respectful, helpful to customers at all times, follow ups and updates to be provided timeously
- Installation, commissioning of laboratory equipment
- IQ, OQ, PQ of lab equipment
- Document control ensure all relevant paperwork are organised and kept safe for audit purposes.
- Adhere to quality management systems in place. (ISO Accreditation) no exceptions to this rule. Where procedures and policies have been noted to you, these must be followed without exception.

Training:

- Initial training and duties will begin on Brookfield (make) Viscometers: strip, service, adjust, reassemble and calibrate.
- Training will be provided hands on during the first month.
- A MCL technician will provide training and be on hand to supervise during the first month.
- Month 2 it will be expected for the technician to have developed skill during month 1 (daily practice) and by month 2 to start working independently with relaxed supervision by MCL Technician.
- Month 3 by now, it will be expected that the technician will be able to work completely independent and unsupervised and be able to troubleshoot and complete the service repair and calibrate Brookfield viscometers.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:

- Matric
- N6/T4 (Light Current)
- Minimum 2 years experience in servicing and repair industry of laboratory equipment

**Package & Remuneration**:
R30k - R40k basic plus:

- R6000.00 car allowance
- R500 cellphone allowance
- Commision
- Petrolcard
- Medical aid and provident fund
