**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE(BUT NOT LIMITED TO)**:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of the boilermakers, welders, operators, and general workers.
- Plan operations and scheduling workloads efficiently utilizing assets and minimize cost.
- Monitor apprentices

**QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
The following trade tested qualifications will be considered:

- Boilermaker Qualifications with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Must be qualified with a valid trade test certificate
- Work experience of at least 10 years in the marine industry
- Ability and acumen to work independently, read and understand drawings
- Strong boilermaker background and knowledge of welding procedures
- Ability to operate machinery, power tools and equipment
- Knowledge of the materials used in welding jobs and steel structures of a vessel.
- Knowledge of the materials to use for certain jobs
- Good knowledge of health and safety
- Good knowledge of welding procedures
- Good communication skills between staff and management
- Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

- A team player with an ability to maintain a positive attitude within the team.
- A can-do attitude
- Be proactive and flexible, willing to work long hours
- Medically fit to work on board fishing vessels
- Sober habits and punctual
- Clear criminal record
