**Descriptions**:

- Industry/business intelligence analysis to transform data into insights that drives the industry's strategic objectives
- Managing the information, news and e-communication portfolio
- Analysing statistical outputs of the SA wine industry
- Conducting environmental scanning of key intelligence needs and driving forces to observe the broader trends of influences on the wine industry
- Providing international information to the wine industry, media and other parties on request
- Analysing international information on a country-specific basis
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of information systems to address the needs of the wine industry
- Industry-specific research in collaboration with other business units in the industry
- Liaising with role players in the SA wine industry
- Conducting presentations on an ad hoc basis as required by the SA wine industry
- Market and production forecasting on wine
- Coordinating purchase projections of rebate, non-alcoholic and distilled wine
- Releasing ad-hoc information to the industry as requested
- Strategic positioning and managing of the Information Services department

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years’ relevant management experience in a relevant business environment, ideally within the wine industry
- Accuracy and a proficiency with numbers
- Strong analytical, attention to detail and financial abilities
- Well-developed communication and reporting skills with exceptional verbal and written skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Sound presentation skills and strategic thinking ability
- The ability to work and lead in a team-focused environment
- Excellent Computer literacy
- A dynamic, professional, energetic and innovative individual
