**The Position in Perspective**:
Taking full responsibility for the
**Energy Management System** activities within the company as a whole, which will typically include, maintaining ISO 50 001 certifications, assisting to develop and implement energy saving-initiatives/projects (eg. For water, effluent, gas, electricity, Power Factor etc.), conduct Energy audits, energy monitoring, implement renewable projects etc.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must have an Engineering Qualification (Diploma/Degree) preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial or Energy Management
- ** Certified Energy Manager** (CEM) qualification, or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) will be greatly beneficial
- ISO 50 001 certification experience
- Carbon footprint and Renewable energy
- experience-will be beneficial
- Minimum of 3 years of Energy Management and Energy Project-experience
- Working knowledge of Energy utility systems
- Electricity account/bill/data/tariff
- analysis
- Automotive and Manufacturing
- experience will be beneficial
- Standalone position-must be Self-driven (no people reporting to her/him-must be able to work independently)
- Innate drive to achieve Quantifiable and Measurable results/KPIs
- Good auditing experience related to Energy efficiency projects
- Results-driven and a good understanding of the process
- control and improvements (Keizan, Continuous improvements etc.)
- Ability to respond quickly and cope under pressure
- Computer literate (MS Office)

**Duties will Include**:

- Accountability to maintain current ISO 50 001 certification
- Compile management reviews (for Energy Management Systems)
- Facilitate Energy Saving initiatives/projects/KPIs/Green Manufacturing
- Conduct Weekly Energy audits
- Energy monitoring (during working hours and related to weekends)
- Participate in Energy Management initiatives/activities (eg. DOJO area, VA/VE)
- Facilitate and encourage continuous improvements and cost-reduction activities
- Identify Energy Saving-Capex projects
- Training regarding Energy Management
