**About the Role**
- Internal Governance and Financial Accounting and your role will be to:

- Work as part of the Catalyst wider financial accounting team and service the firms growing book of Accounting clients
- Own all client deliverables, including the development of the product, of the financial statement service line.
- Ensure that the clients that are worked on are properly scoped and that the work is completed per the agreed contracts.

**What we need from you**

On the daily
- Work as part of the wider financial accounting team and assist in the preparation of:

- Financial statements for all Catalyst Accounting, Catalyst Fund Administration and Clearwater CFO clients.
- Financial statements for additional ad-hoc structures.
- Own the deliverable process for this function and be accountable for the service offering;
- Assist with developing/customizing technology to produce a product that is scale-able;
- Assist the fund administration / client service managers alongside the groups clients during the annual audit process and ensure that any questions are answered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Carry out extensive research into different accounting standards and reporting requirements for entities that report under IFRS or US GAAP
- Work with the fund administration team to service clients and to manage the data transformation out of fund accounting systems and into the financial statement reporting process
- Support the Senior Associate Director as needed
- Additional ad-hoc duties as required

- Provide ad-hoc day-to-day support on requests that come up.
- Work with clients on any demand they may have that Catalyst can assist with.
- Share insights to enable development of new processes and procedures that will create business efficiency and support delivery of client excellence in service
- Maintain awareness of industry, regulatory, jurisdictional and other trends that could affect the business.
- Contribute to the creation, development and implementation of new products and solutions to accommodate changing customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations staff, business users, project and implementation managers to achieve desired and elegant solutions.

**Skills & Experience**

The role requires the following skills & experience:

- Internationally recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, CA)
- Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience post accounting designation with Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience auditing or preparing financial statements for investment related entities under both US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with fund accounting software preferred
- Expert level use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Power Query, Power Automate
- Fluent in English (writing & speaking).
