What will you do?
An exciting new opportunity exists in the MiWay Actuarial Fraud & Claims team. We are continuously looking to enhance operational efficiencies and improve claims performance. Come join the team and be part of the challenge. What will make you successful in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics or related field Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
Data gathering and analysis with a focus on claims fraud
Development, implementation and ongoing evolution of fraud models
Building and monitoring claim related reports and metrics
Liasing with the claims department to find new opporutnities to improve operational performance Competencies Required
Analytical and critical thinker with a curious mind
Attention to detail
Understand the underlying statistical theory used for model building (GLM and others)
Programming skills in MS SQL, Oracle, Python, or R would be advantageous
Agile and willing to change priorities as business needs change
