Our client who has been providing excellence for more than 30 years currently has an opportunity for an Electrical Draughtsman who has 5 years working experience and an advanced proficiency in Autodesk Electrical.

Position details:
Prepare sales solutions/ concept drawings in support of Sales Department.
Ensure electrical detailed design drawings and specifications are developed using Autodesk Autocad Electrical tools.
Prepare straightforward 3D models and 2D detailed drawings of electrical infrastructure.
Ensure consultation with colleagues/customers to design, layout or detail components and systems to resolve design or other problems.
Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with company quality system.
Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into design and procedures, design specifications and ISO standards are adhered to.
Design electrical panels and equipment using AutoCAD Electrical.
Design wire routing and termination schedules in AutoCAD Electrical.
Working knowledge of electrical components.
Compiling of electrical Bills of Materials.
Assisting departments with part identification.

Job Qualification & Experience:
Matric qualification
5 years relevant working experience
Certified multi-disciplinary qualification
Advance Microsoft Office skills
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Electrical - Minimum of 5 years working experience
Advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D packages
Draughting or similar and recognized training in Autocad Electrical
Understand electrical components SLD’s with extensive experience.
Understand mechanical components for SLD’s
Understand architectural components for SLD’s
Own transport.
Solid works, EPLAN, REVIT experience an added benefit
