Creditors Controller

As the Creditors Controller you will be responsible for the daily and monthly processing of invoices and the payment thereof. To accurately and timeously address any invoice, statement or payment concerning queries that Customers and Suppliers may have.

**ÃÂ**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Accurately process supplier invoices on the system
- Process all supplier payments within the agreed upon terms
- Prepare payment runs and the generation of payment files
- Attend to invoice discrepancies
- Attend to payment discrepancies
- Provide payment remittances within the agree upon timeframe
- Communication with suppliers regarding the required or missing documents needed for payment processing
- The reconciliation of supplier statements and ledger to determine outstanding balances.
- Maintain and file supplier invoices in accordance with the financial record keeping protocols
- Archiving physical and electronic documents for retrieval and audit purposes.

- SUPPLIERS:

- Communicate with Suppliers to obtain invoices for processing.
- Clarify supplier billing discrepancies.
- Resolve supplier payment-related concerns.

ÃÂ
- TEAM:

- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve finance related issues.
- Engage with POD Assistants when supplier invoices are submitted for payment.
- Provide Purchase Order (PO) numbers on request

**REQUIREMENTS**:
oÃÂ ÃÂ A recognised qualification in Finance

oÃÂ ÃÂ 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar position

oÃÂ ÃÂ Proficiency in Microsoft packages as well as extensive knowledge of Excel

oÃÂ ÃÂ Good leadership and interpersonal skills essential

MUST HAVE SAGE EXPERIENCE

oÃÂ ÃÂ To accurately process invoices for the weekly Creditor payment schedule

oÃÂ ÃÂ To timeously request supplier statements for month end processing

oÃÂ ÃÂ Ensure the reconciliation of Supplier and Client accounts are done on a monthly basis
