The position requires shift work and overtime from time to time. Applicants must be able to pass Red Ticket Medical. Applicants must undergo and artisan assessment at our training Centre to determine level of experience and skill. Willing to travel to and from sites.

Fault finding, maintenance and repairs and servicing off all plant equipment.

Must understand hydraulics and electronics to do fault finding.

Must be able to interpret parts and workshop manuals, schematics etc.

Solid knowledge and understanding of risk assessments, JSA’s, HIRA’s and all other safety requirements.

Must be medically fit.

Grade 12 or N3 Technical Equivalent qualification.

Qualified Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic,

An understanding of Hitachi, Caterpillar, Bell, Komatsu and various ancillary equipment will be an advantage.

Hydraulics over electrical, Geo Teck (drill riggs), Casagrande, Bower, Comacchio, Bord long year, Grout pumps.

Diesel Mechanic and other relevant trades will be considered depending on experience.

Post Trade Test experience and advantage.
