Independent Contractor

The Organisation requires the services of an Independent Contractor in the Chief Financial Officer’s Division. This role will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

**Requirements**:

- Post Graduate Accounting Degree and be registered as part of a professional body.
- At least 10 years of work experience in an advisory role in financial management, auditing, and related areas.
- Must have at least 10 years of management experience.
- Knowledge of GRAP Standards.
- Financial Management.
- Risk Management.
- PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
- Government priorities, policies, and legislation.
- Project management.
- Strategic management.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analytical decision-making.
- Project and programme management.
- Affluent in report writing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical support and advisory service to the CFO and her team.
- Innovation in improving financial workflows and processes within the CFO’s office.
- Data Modelling and Analytical variance analysis and reporting across relevant areas in finance.
- Project Management and reporting for projects within the CFO’s office.
- Financial statement advisory support and review.
- Finance Policy review and enhancements.
- Any other Adhoc responsibilities.
- Compilation and review of various reports and other documents.
