**Position Overview**

We are looking for a hands-on and technically experienced **IT Technician** to implement and manage enterprise-grade infrastructure, cloud platforms, and endpoint security systems. This role is critical to supporting and enhancing our organization's digital foundation, with a focus on **network deployment, cloud services, and security-first architecture.**

**Core Responsibilities**

**Infrastructure Deployment & Maintenance**
- Deploy and manage **smart edge routers**, managed switches, and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points across all sites.
- Configure **VLANs**, **QoS**, **firewall rules, VPN’s**, and **LTE failover** to ensure high availability and performance.
- Maintain network diagrams, device inventories, and configuration documentation.

**Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management**
- Assist in the migration and administration of Data from Cloud Infrastructure
- Implement **cloud-native disaster recovery**, **backup**, and **remote access solutions**.

**Microsoft 365 Integration**
- Deploy and manage **SharePoint Online**, **OneDrive for Business**, and **Microsoft Teams** infrastructure.
- Automate governance, workflow, and policy enforcement for secure collaboration and file management.

**Endpoint Security & Backup Strategy**
- Implement a **Zero Trust** security model at the workstation level.
- Deploy and maintain **EDR**, **BitLocker encryption**, **USB lockdown**, and browser security controls.
- Monitor backup operations via **OneDrive**, Exchange Online, and SharePoint to ensure RTO/RPO standards are met.
- Maintain centralized security logs and RMM-based alerts for compliance and auditing.

**Administration**
- Service the company with all IT Related issues
- Troubleshoot IT equipment’s and provide support and solutions
- Setup Laptops with all platforms used by the company
- Attend to weekly reporting meetings

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network and infrastructure roles (not end-user support).
- CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified, or Cisco CCNA certifications (preferred).
- Proficient in configuring firewalls, VLANs, switches, cloud environments, and server-based infrastructure.
- Skilled in managing hybrid environments using **Microsoft 365**, **Azure AD**, and **enterprise backup platforms**.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and project execution capabilities.
- Valid Code 8 or 10 driver’s license.

Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
