- 3 years demonstrated managerial experience in a manufacturing environment

**Advantageous Requirements**:

- Experience in explosives manufacturing

**Duties**:
**Enabled and compliant plant delivery**

Ensure that the resources allocated (people, process and material) are fully utilized as expected to meet their daily/weekly targets.
Optimize the plant performance by recruiting qualified, well trained and experienced resources.
Plan, organize and enable the production/plant team to ensure that all required skills and tools/other resources are available as and when required.
To ensure that the training plans/matrix are implemented and managed for all direct reports in line with the plant’s day to day deliverables.

**Plant Safety and Security**
Ensuring minimum safety process and quality critical staffing positions are occupied on each shift as per the prerequisite for production to commence.
To ensure compliance to all legal safety procedures and processes as prescribed to minimize risks.

**Optimal task/plant process performance**
To ensure proactive management of the resources provided to maximise operational efficiencies of the production processes.
Raw material, consumables, energy and water, human resource and time utilization.
