**Job description**:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for the strategy, content and performance on all BoyleSports social media channels. Ultimately the goal of the Social Media Manager is to maximize social media customer engagement and following. Manage all daily social media communication in direct alignment with the company brand and acquisition objectives.

Social Media Manager duties:

- Working on and continually evolving the social media strategy, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and engagement of the various BoyleSports social platforms.
- Analyzing BoyleSports SA social media performance, define targets and report on results.
- Assist the Head of Marketing and greater marketing team to ensure all campaign strategies align with above-the-line campaigns, to both support and boost performance across all social media channels.
- Work with the Affiliate Manager in managing the relationships with influencers and affiliates in order to maximize campaign performance.
- Liaise with the Sponsorship team in order to deliver a ROO (Return on Objectives) for all sponsorship and brand ambassador partnerships,
- Work with the Design department to ensure all campaigns maintain a consistent brand image in line with the group’s strategy.
- Work with Customer Service department to ensure swift response to any queries or problems that may arise and develop strategies and processes to deliver industry-best customer service.

KPI’s
- Growth of social media engagement and following
- Initiative on new marketing approaches

Social Media Manager requirements:

- Proven work experience as a community manager/social media manger or relevant field
- Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online social media forum)
- Ability to identify and track relevant social metrics (e.g. customer engagement metrics)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or relevant field advantageous but not a must
- Sporting knowledge is advantageous
