Irrigation Technician Joostenbergvlakte

An established landscape company is looking for an experienced irrigation technician for residential irrigation and booster pump system projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Install landscaping and irrigation projects on various sites.
- Irrigation is installed or maintained, and able to check if all is kept in good working order.
- Fault-finding when irrigation systems do not perform optimally is conducted, and corrective action is ensured.
- Pro-active communication when things do not go according to plan or additional supplies are required on site.
- Equipment is well-maintained and kept in clean working order.

**MUST HAVES**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential irrigation systems and booster pump systems.
- Drivers Licenses -advantageous
- Matric or Irrigation qualification or related would be advantageous

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Be able to plan, design, and implement new irrigation systems independently.
- Able to do fault-finding and the repair of existing systems.
- Thorough knowledge of irrigation controllers and programming thereof.
- Fluent English & Afrikaans, and excellent communication skills
- Able to build and maintain health working relationships.
- Healthy, fit & physically able to move around the site with ease and speed, and able to assist with loading and heavy lifting.

- Able to efficiently and patiently communicate with residents & gardening staff.
- Proactive, taking initiative & identifying areas of concern independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Clear criminal record
- South African Citizen
- Neat, clean, tidy and presentable to clients at all times.
- Able to take initiative and suggest solutions to clients.

Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
