**Key Responsibility Areas: Core Functions**
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
- Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to the Contracts Manager.
- Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.
- Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.**Inherent Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered with SACPCMP: Pr CM. /Pr,CPM or registered with ECSA: Pr. Eng /Tech.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in concrete water-retaining structures: reservoirs or waste water treatment works or towers.

**Job-Related Experience**
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
- Ability to manage project activities simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
- Knowledge of the civil engineering code requirements and scheduling methods.
